It'd be cool to have upgrades in sequels of the game. Upgrades must be really expansive, but powerfull. Money for upgrade most be spent entirely in one country. List of possible upgrades as for MA balance.
LAV enforcement. LAVs get +1 HPs. Already produced LAVs get +1 HP even if damaged. Destroyed LAVs do not ressurect. Cost 20$ at one country... Probably balanced as can not be purchased before 5th turn in large country.
Transport armor. Transport get +1 HPs. Costs 15.
Rocket launcher inceniary shells. Rocket launchers delivers 1 damage to 6 cells adjanced to target. It means up to 9 damage per strike for only 4$. But in fact it'll more often deliver about 5 damage and even friendly fire accident may occur. Cost of 32 may be balanced (a lot of time even in large country). Cost of 8 launchers/annihilators.
Bomber fuel tank. Attack range of 7 and redeploy range of 14. Costs 16 (?)
Bot enheaviement. +2HP and +1 damage of bots. Cost of 40 may be relevant.
