I have a Radeon 9700 with the latest Cat3.8 drivers. If I set the game to the highest resolution, the screen just flickers.

Can anyone help me?

thanks!

the only guess I have right now is that your monitor doesn't supports it. Anyway please do the following: run MA, switch to the highest resolution, exit MA(if possible - pressing Alt+F4 might help) or reboot. send ma.log to support@massiveassault.com with a brief description of your problem.

For now you can play at high res as following:
1) Set your desktop to highest resolution possible
2) Run MA go to options and select a WIndowed mode for highest resolution. Everything should be OK.

BTW: I only play in windowed mode - it's much more convenient for multiplayer.

AFAIK, the Catalyst 3.8 seems to be a little buggy. Please try to use Catalyst 3.7.
If the problem persists, please writte to our support team at support@wargaming.net.

Try rolling back to the 3.7 drivers. the 3.8s have some issues with a few games. I am using the 3.7 drivers on a 9700 pro and i just installe MA with no problems with the graphics.
