Opponnent not sending a turn?

I am conducting a match in which my opponente has not yet sent a turn it over 8 days. How long will it be before the match is called?

can ijust have it discarded (no winner no looser) after a certin period?

Currenly there is no such option (to finish a game deliberately).

We need more time and more online players to collect some statistical data in order to come up with the solution, which will be satisfying for the majority.

Imagine, you went on holidays to visit your grandma and stayed a week longer than expected (and your grandma in Oclahoma does not have GeForce3 videocard - and when you come back home, you discover that all your battles-of-honour are finished by your opponents... we should be delicate in this issue...

Well, there are players who simply drop when the other person is ahead, instead of resigning, so you get deprived of your win. :evil:

There should be a solution for this. :-?

i thinkn so i believe on e of the games is 24 days now or 23. def. need to be dealt with. He could of at least left me a message.

it's a pity to say - i faced same problem from a man who i one of the game developer
i sent challenge to Skykeeper.
we started game - made a pair of turns then he stopped playing at all
now a WHOLE MONTH passed since start of that game but it is still turn 2
after that he was online (posted here at forum for example) but not answered me
THIS IS NOT THE WAY FOR A PLAYER TO BEHAVE!!!

As far as I know SkyKeeper is very good and dangerous player, but he plays very irregular.
