To those who think that the computer is an easy opponet I am pleased to offer Tank Man Challenge

The rulez are very simple:
You have to complete Antarcticus Warld War recruiting only Tanks. No LAVs, nor Mortars, no Transports, no Aviation.... - nothing! Only tanks!

As Example I can show a replay of my Vicotry http://www.massiveassault.com/download/ ... llenge.rep

i think playing worldwars against computer is boring like hell - AI always deploys same endless hordes of L.A.V.s (or if in sea maps - destroyers) and it's quite a repetitive and tedious works to destroy them wave after wave.
and btw what do you intend to prove with this? Playing with tank only means increasing playing time for yourself but not proves that AI is not stupid :D

Playing with Tanks only ... well, it does not just increase the playing time. It makes victory very very tough. It does not intend to prove anything. It is just a new way to have some fun with Massive Assault and a good deal of challenge.

Who are thinking that "Tank Man Challenge" is very easy thing also can try to complete "Artillery Man Challenge" - only an artillery is allowed :-).
I've attached the replay of my Victory :-)

I'll take that challenge! Give me a couple days to complete it and I'll post the results either victory or gruesome defeat.

Antarcticus World War vs AI using no ground/sea units except transports

Quick clarification:
Are Towers considered ground units? They are stationary and so wouldn't be able to advance anywhere.

No touching the ground. Towers are no-no. Amphibians are OK as long as they stay in the water.

If anyone actually wins with this I'll REALLY want to see your replays. :)

Geez! What are you going to do for guerrillas? Run circles around them in transports I guess...

And you won't be able to do a battleship for a guerrilla because you'll have 1 left over!

Alright so the rules are that only things touching the ground are transports. Ships and aav's are allowed as long as they don't touch the land masses. The planet is Antarcticus (which sucks for water vessels) and the stage is world war.

I'll let ya know how I do. :P

Well, for FNU I can hold an awesome defense of my countries, but in the end PL wins by having more neutral territories under its control. The only thing it shows is that unlike Human players, the machine prefers to take on neutral countries rather than a front line stand against the enemy and it prefers to have a ton of LAV/Scouts.

I'll try my luck as PL this time but I fear it will be the same, I holding my ground and the machine taking neutral countries. Of course If I could get the perfect layout along the coast, I could then use ships for fire power as the airplanes alone can't get the job done as an offense and defense both.

In anycase Its been fun to think of ways to repel the enemy with virtually no firepower and no way to maintain a hold over the transport populated neutral lands.
