Sorry for the trollish topic, but I can already hear these words echoing through the skulls of the unenlightened.
From a 23-year-old gamer who doesn't like to pretend that his skill in clicking is somehow related to strategy I feel the need to say the following to the developers:
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ...
I thought the glory days of turn-based games were gone, banished to playing x-com ad nausium and wishing your CPU was slower so you could actually see the sprite animations.
I love Massive Assault (probably a bit too much) and will be honored to play anyone after I've played all the single-player modes (just finishing up medium difficulty scenarios now -- bought the game yesterday hehe...would be playing now but am stuck at work :/ )
I'm rambling now, just felt like I needed to post and scream my praise and thanks to the development team that risked releasing a turn-based game onto the unwashed heathen masses of caffiene reflex junkies. My biggest complaint about modern gaming is the lack of good turn-based entries. Massive Assault is truly a gem
Thanks again, and long live turn-based strategy!
