Anybody else that's been on the forums for a while notice the large number of new, active members? Hopefully the word is getting around on what a great game this is.

Yes, it is for last two weeks. Probably, it is because of articles at penny-arcade.com about Massive Assault, which were more productive than any review in any respected magazine or online resource. Anyway, we're going to keep this growth for some time by releasing patch and updated demo and some other news.

We're working on trying to get together a newer player clan war... will that do?

For me it will sureley do. My only concern is if other players will join too since its more like unofficial.

I been reading alot bout the efforts you guys put into the clan wars, and i applaud you for it. This is exaclty what the community needs.

Keep up the good work.

Well, I read the review in wargamer. I wasn't too impressed. Then the demo came out, I downloaded and wow I was hooked. two days later I went out and bought it. I am still fairly new at playing other people, but they are teaching me alot of stuff. I would be interested in a newbie tournament. That would be kinda cool.

To Irish Avenger.

Are you really from Ireland?

That would be cool. We are now thinking about National Team Cup and it would be incomplete withouth New Zealand and Ireland Teams....

No, I am not from Ireland. I was born in Texas and have live there most of my life. I am of irish descent.{ I am a bloody Celt, I tell ya :D } I have family here in Texas and Ohio. Although as most Texans are concern we do consider ourselves a whole another country.

Hello, I'm a newbie (from Belgium). Normally, I'm not into strategy games, but I tried out the demo on the cover-DVD of a local gamesmag. The accompanying picture looked nice (water-reflection), so I thought, let's give it a try. I really liked the turn-based tactics, and was hooked. I got my ass beaten in World War, until I got the grips. Now, I developed a strategy to win this map with ease on "hard"-difficulty. Even my brother got hooked, who generally lost interest in games years ago. So, now that I've played the demo to death (I played it longer than most full games  ), I wanted more. And today, the game arrived in my mailbox - ordered it from Amazon. I was surprised to learn that this game was already out in october. I never read a review about it in my preferred gamesmag, and as I don't read about strategy games on the net, I could have missed this excellent title. Good thing I installed the demo, I would have missed out big time :o .

Another reason why I wanted to order this game, is the way in which Wargaming.Net is supporting this game. The extra maps and scenario's are really a plus to buy the full game. Keep up the good work :D . I really have a lot of sympathy for such fine developers.

Thanks.

On topic: I think the growth will continue - I see that Prelusion are going to release the game in Scandinavia, which is obviously good news. From their website, it seems they look at MA as one of their most important titles.

The more the merrier! I think it's great that MA seems to be developing a global fan base. It's more fun to get your ass kicked by people from all over as opposed to just getting it kicked by a bunch of Americans (speaking of myself here)!

Yeah, I too was reffered from PA, and I am glad I was too! After having played the demo I was so hooked, still waiting to go out and buy the game tomorrow. A navy element will be pretty wild... MA is now officially my favourite TBS evar! (Replacing MAX)
