 Post subject: Paradise Campaign Bug - Mission 7

Let me first say that i absolutely love this game and i am totally addicted.
My problem has already been mentioned in this forum and i just wondered if it is a common glitch that many people are experiencing.

On Paradise campaign - mission 7 i am not given any amphibians at the start of the mission and therfore the mission is un- winnable.

It is not a huge bug and i am more than happy with how stable the game is on my system.

I wonder if the developers could correct this easily with a second patch.
I have completed 2 of the other campaigns and it is annoying that i can't get past mission 7 in this campaign.

Any moderaters or developers reading this could you let us know if this is a problem that is likely to be fixed.

I get this too, the stats show that a load of the units are destroyed before a turn is taken.

We've found both the problems...
For easy and fast fixing the 1st bug (described by sniggles) find the file Storm.scn. It is located in the folder
<YOUR MA FOLDER>\scenarios\campaign
e.g. if the folder where you installed Massive Assault is
C:\Program Files\Massive Assault
you need find the file
C:\Program Files\Massive Assault\scenarios\campaign\Storm.scn

Then, open the file in any text editor and change the line
UNIT, 9, ARTILLERYA, ALIENS, 56, 30
to:
;UNIT, 9, ARTILLERYA, ALIENS, 56, 30, i.e. just add a semicolon in the beginning of the line. That's all.

Fixing the 2nd bug, with the Noble Rust campaign, reported by ohSoDangerous - find the file Arc of Fire.scn in the same folder as Storm.scn and comment (add a semicolon) the following lines:

UNIT, 4133, TANK, HUMANS, 22, 86
UNIT, 4134, TANK, HUMANS, 22, 86
UNIT, 4135, TANK, HUMANS, 22, 86
UNIT, 4136, TANK, HUMANS, 22, 86

Now you're ready to make games by your own hands :D
WARNING.The manipulations above lead to excluding several units from the scenarios and this can influence the possibility of passing the scenario. I just suggested the fastest way but the corrected scenarios need to be tested for balance and you may wait for upgrades... Have fun!

Thanks Artmax.

I have put in the semi colon as you suggested and like magic i now have lots of hard hitting extra units for mission 7.

It's amazing the power of a semi colon.

Maybe i should stick them in front of all the code and become invincible!

Only joking - thanks again for the reply and thanks to all the moderators and developers who are quick to reply to our problems on this forum.

If only more forums were this good i might join a few more.

Found the same thing, will try the fix. I'm actually starting to win these things outright! My fiance is getting upset that while fighting a virus and tempearture I am also fighting the Phantom League.

The changes in storm.scn worked well. The scenario is now playable.
